Daniel- Going online ‘nets’ clients Australia-wide
“The aim was to get more business out of our website. We had to get a better ranking on Google so that people could find us. We really wanted to get our name out there online. We weren’t achieving this with the website we had, but we are now!”
Daniel, Legal Practice Director at Cooke & Hutchinson, has started the day with an enquiry from people in NSW wanting to buy investment property in Queensland. This might seem like a normal enquiry for a lawyer but Daniel is impressed by the fact that it’s from interstate.
“The thing that is most impressive is that they found us off the Net. Our new website has really expanded our client base and made us think about where our physical location really needs to be. In the past most of our clients were from Redcliffe where we are based, but now we are receiving enquiries from other locations, so our client base is changing and growing.
Cooke & Hutchinson have provided excellent legal advice for more than 30 years but were in need of a more modern virtual image. To find an answer they did what most people do and searched Google leading them to Turnbull Design.
“Our main thing was our website which was dated and we weren’t happy with it,” said Daniel. “To start with we thought about changing the design but then ended up revamping the whole thing. The aim was to get more business out of our site. We had to get a better ranking on Google so that people could find us. We really wanted to get our name out there online. We weren’t achieving this with the website we had, but we are now!”
Cooke & Hutchinson searched many designers before settling on Aaron and Turnbull Design.
“Aaron presented as easy to talk to and impressed us with his marketing ideas for our firm. It got the ball rolling from there. His customer service has been really excellent and in terms of value for money, the quote is there, it’s up front, you really can’t fault Turnbull Design. And it’s the after service support, I think that’s what sets Aaron apart from the others, it’s so good.”
And the main message? Don’t forget the internet in terms of letting the whole world know you are there!
“Being a law firm, and a boutique law firm, we had to get our message out to a wider audience. The actual volume of enquiries has improved but that’s not the main thing for us, we are getting enquiries from places we never thought we would so that’s really positive.”
